Great choice for accommodation, as direct link from airport to Asakusa station. You feel well connected, but streets are quieter at night, so you can rest properly before sightseeing the next day.
Beautiful botanical garden; very quiet for a change; if you want to relax in the hustle of the busy city, come here for a walk, you will not be disappointed.
Does not belong to a chain and you can feel the individual flavor of the owner. They let you browse forever if you want, but are quick to help if you need assistance. My favourite shop in Kempten!
Very authentic local restaurant with delicious German and especially local Allgäu dishes. If you go for dinner, best reserve a table beforehand. Also nice offers for lunch available.
Very nice café, beautifully located in the center of the pedestrian area, if it's sunny, enjoy your coffee outside, and don't miss out on their great cakes.
Supposedly one of the best Greek restaurants in this area, and we were not disappointed. Had one of the lamb dishes and the meat was very tender and soft and delicious!
If you take this route between Tirol and Bavaria, and you get stuck in traffic, be warned, there is no alternative route... But if stuck, take the time and enjoy the landscape! Beautiful mountain view
Even though we buy a lot from this store online, it is always an experience to come here in person. Makes shopping so much more fun! You can get everything you need/want for hiking, travelling...
If possible, check-in online, then go and print your baggage tags yourself. Self check-in and baggage drop work really well at this airport. Never checked in so smoothly!
Unfortunately only small section of Fiskars products in the Iittala and Arabia Design Centre Store. Was looking for/expecting a bigger Fiskars shop. The sculptures made of cutlery are great though.
Don't miss the Fiskars section there. As the Fiskars campus unfortunately does not have its own shop. Also they wrap your dishes for air transport (hand luggage)! Excellent service.
Fun fact: All developers in the Arabianranta area must use 1-2% of the building investments of individual sites for works of art. Therefore, works of arts are visible around the district. Beautiful!
Even if you don't like beer, definitely come for the food! Delicious meals, very friendly staff, quick service. Can definitely recommend for (romantic) dinner.
Coffee cups are always the same, but this is the type of ride I like the most! They don't turn too fast, so you can still see the loved ones waiting for you outside... :-)
The lunch buffet was very good, did not expect this much at a theme park. Price was also ok, we had more expensive food that tasted works at other places.
Don't worry about the water rafting track (Hurjakuru), the dryer afterwards is free. If you don't want to join your kids in the rides, they have attraction buddies during high season (book in advance)

Beautiful modern church without corners, hard to capture the roundness on photos, but definitely visit when you are around. Good for a rest, to get out of the hectic shopping buzz.
One of my favorite cities; rain or shine, this city is easy to get around, one foot, by bike, public transport; lots to see and do, good shops, delicious coffee and food, nice people = Finns!
Great restaurant for delicious Finnish food in an interesting setting; good for groups and tourists (menu in all sorts of languages).
Coming with your own car is awkward as the taxi drivers get angry at you even when you just want to unload your luggage. Forget the sky bar; great view of the harbor for free from fitness/pool area!
Largest lake in Finland, bordering towns like Lappeenranta, Imatra, Savonlinna, Mikkeli, Joensuu. Lots of islands and canals, beautiful landscape!
Free parking, great surroundings (forest, lake), hotel rooms quite big, very comfortable, free wifi worked well, would come here again (the sooner the better!).

Spectacular huge wooden church for such a small town. :-) Check out the heating and how they have placed the candle holders. Very interesting, really beautiful.
Went there although the sign said they were still closed, hoped to see some art outdoors. Were met by a wonderful, friendly white dog and had the best time of the day playing with him! :-)
Very fancy restaurant in not so nice surroundings, but more spectacular because of it. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it! All dishes are delicious! Don't miss this restaurant when in Joensuu!
