Carmen N: Everybody is right, the lunch special is a really good deal. Variety is awesome, flavors are great.

Carmen N: Classic greasy spoon (I mean that in the best way). Get a pecan waffle and hash browns!

Carmen N: Excellent cocktails. Tasting menu is superb, worth the splurge: ours included smoked trout, delicious pork loin, lots of seasonal vegetables. Beautiful adaptive reuse of the old carriage house.

Carmen N: Possibly my favorite bookstore in the city. Always has what I'm looking for - and usually a good condition used book for a good price.

Carmen N: A old fave since forever, always a fun place to visit for comics, graphic novels, and toys.

Carmen N: I like this little outpost of the big store in DUMBO. Usually end up buying kid's stuff that isn't featured at other bookshops.

Carmen N: Small artsy place with supplies ranging from paints & canvas to kids crafts. Good stuff.

Carmen N: Books and beer, you can't really go wrong with that.
