Carmen N: Pens! It's a random collection of household goods and stationery. You'll need them all.
5. New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (LPA)
Carmen N: They often have fantastic exhibits. Good study spaces too.

Carmen N: Everything I've had so far is good: the labane & eggplant sandwich, sweet potato falafel, great hummus.

Carmen N: The pizzas are quite good, and the sliders too. Have with a glass of wine, but get comfy because service can be slooooow.

Carmen N: There's an adorable mini village of playhouses for kids. The Candy Crisp apples are delicious. Stunning views of the Hudson Valley.

Carmen N: The sandwiches are only subtly different from each other, but oh so tasty. Huge, split with a friend.

Carmen N: A really nice black bean burger and a great tap list. Lots of local beer options.

Carmen N: Fried okra, field peas, Bloody Mary with pickle vodka, fried shrimp, shrimp and grits. Fair choices for kid's meals too.

Carmen N: Their exhibits range from the Manhattan street grid to hip hop and subway art. It's good to know they appreciate the entirety of NYC lifestyles.
