Get a table by the window for tea time. Jasmine is my favorite. Order black sesame mochi and the scones. Amazing!

It's easy to dismiss this place as just a cafe, but their savory offerings are really tasty too. Limited menu so definitely one for fans of real Japanese food. No substitutions.

The ambiance is great/authentic! The tea/dessert was way below expectations. My White Peony tea was more astringent than white tea ever should be, and the sesame seed creme brûlée was not good at all.
