One of the jewels of our city. Discovered in 1977, it is one of the most impressive Bulgarian sights to visit. June’s Verdi Festival is an excellent reason to linger in this historic place.

Nice theatre. Amazed that they managed to discover it first in the 1970-ies. It seems to be situated on the highest spot in town and takes up loads of land.

Often you can watch plays or other types of performances in this ancient theatre. Making it a unique cultural place for Bulgaria.
