Pine 1217March 22, 20201879年に白熱電球の改良で革命を起こしたThomas Alva Edison。その要たる竹製フィラメントに用いたのが、ここ石清水八幡宮の境内に生える竹だった。今でも毎年2月11日には生誕祭、10月18日の命日には碑前祭が斎行されている。
