Great elevator ride up and great views from top; I'd recommend dusk or evening time if you can. Also, if you stand/sit still for a moment, you can feel the tower swaying a bit.

Tower is quite beautiful at night. Not sure if was worth it going up, expensive (1000 yen) for the 15-20min you will expend in it.

Very nice views. For the second show you can enter at 18:00 and if lucky still catch the dusk.

名古屋栄のシンボル。日本最初の集約電波塔として1954年開業。高さは180m。4年後に東京タワーが出来るまでは東洋一を誇った。設計者は早大教授で塔博士と呼ばれた内藤多仲。90m地点にスカイデッキ、100m地点にスカイバルコニーと2つの展望台を有する。2019年1月7日から約1年間改修工事のため休業中。

名古屋テレビ塔は中部電力によるネーミングライツ取得のため2021年5月1日から3年間限定で名称が「中部電力 MIRAI TOWER」となった。

営業時間はシーズン、曜日で変わります。4〜12月は10:00〜22:00。1〜3月は10:00〜21:00。土日祝は11:00からです。平日より土日祝日のオープンが遅いの？？

日本初の共同電波塔として東京タワーより早く昭和29年に完成しました。航空法が制定される前に完成したので、各地のテレビ塔と違い、赤白カラーではなく銀色です。
