Super fun to play with the deer. First bow, they'll bow back, feed them a deer biscuit and you can pet them on the head. Watch our for deer who sneak attack from behind and bite your pockets!
Check out the biggest Buddha statue in Japan! I heard that this rebuild is only 60% of the original one! Wow! Oh, yeah: one of the deer bite me in the ass! Beware! ;-)
Magic place, where a huge number of young deer roam freely all around the park and the neighborhood. They are cute, a little shy, friendly and always hungry. :D
Amazing place, definitely somewhere you should go visit whilst in Osaka. It's super cool to see & feed the deer. The park is also very with lots of temples.

Such a cool park to play with some deers. They are literally everywhere (and so is their poop). Get some deer cookies to feed em and make em bow for the food. They swarm so be careful.
If you are here to play with deers, keep walking past the spots full of tourists, especially at the very entrance. Further away there are tons of hungry & curious deers waiting just for you! :)
A lovely, peaceful place- get away from the main roads and high up into the lush park. It's quiet and beautiful, and the deer there won't be as aggressive. Be smart and don't feed around a herd!
It's worth heading up to Nigatsu-do for great views out over the shrines. Stay in the park until dusk and you'll have the place to yourself when all the tourists depart making it even more serene.
Amazing experience with all the wild deers that roam the park. If you want them near you, purchase a pack of crackers for 150 yen and they will become your friend forever!
Caution! The deers do bite/gnaw.Especially if you have biscuits in your hand&there's a bunch swarming over you&you are outnumbered.A friend has bite marks as souvenir on the stomach.
This was my favorite thing to do!! Feeding deer under Sakura blossoms was magical and so fun! I did meet a rambunctious deer who bit my thigh when it got jealous of me feeding another deer so beware!
The deer are tame and accustomed to tourists, but they get excited when it comes to eating so be warned! The deer can be aggressive, chase after you or nip at your shirt if you don’t feed them.
Been here twice and I don't think I'll ever get bored of it! Wild deers everywhere, buy them crackers if you want. So many temples and shrines to visit. Good for a one day visit.
Beautiful park, and while it's amazing to have deers roam freely and unafraid of humans, keep in mind that they're live real animals, not toys or decorations. Respect them as such.
There are deer literally all over the park, all the way up to the temple. Don't just stop at the entrance by the road and think that's it. There's hundreds of them scattered around, if not more.
Amazing experience! Awesome to see deer so close and be able to touch them. Lots of little carts with cookies to buy for the deer if you're feeling lucky.
Note that the deers are not tame! They can bite, kick, butt and knock down any visitors! So your safety is at your own risk! brought cakes and it was stolen by them deers hehehehehe
A lot of group coming in the weekend, make sure that you come earlier or on weekdays.. The gorgeous deers will welcoming you as you arrived at Nara. Love it!

The antlers of the deers were cut the time we went. Be careful where your belongings touch the deers. They might bite. Otherwise they're very tame and cute💕
