Obligatory stop on the Tokyotouristtrain. Great views from the 350m Tembo deck -- don't see the need to pay for the extra 50m. Don't miss the see through floor windows downstairs!
The base of the tower has a structure similar to a tripod; from a height of about 350 m (1,150 ft) and above, the tower's structure is cylindrical to offer panoramic views of the river and the city.
Attention All Foreign Nationals: bring your Passport and line/queue up at this Fast Skytree Ticket Counter for literally only 5 minutes wait time to go up the tower http://bit.ly/FastSkyTree cheers!
Amazing views. Be sure to be there at sundown. Save a good spot in front of Mount Fuji. I went to the top, but I think it’s enough if you only book the normal price. And check out the official store.
one of the largest buildings in the world when you arrive via subway pay attention theee are signs welcoming you to skytree town i found that awesome! so enjoy taking in this beautiful
Best views over Tokyo. Make sure you get the international pass for $10 more and speedy access to the elevators. Get ready for crowds, but lines move fast.
Great view. On April to come by 5-5:30pm, you will be able to see the beautiful sunset. Weekend is full of visitors, better purchase online else you might need to wait an hour just to purchase ticket.
Go in the evening during the golden hour and watch the sunset. Then wait for the sky to turn dark and the city ligjts to light up. That way, you get to see 2different sights with one ticket.
The newest landmark and also the highest building (634m) in Japan since 2010. Located near sumida River. Now this broadcasting and obsevation tower became a touristattraction #TravellingTokyo
This is an amazingly beautiful tower and it gave a mysterious kind of feel the night I came when it was raining. You need to pay to go to the observation deck.
Obviously one of the major attractions in Tokyo with all TV stations character goods being sold in addition to other shops. Nice observatory but buildings around are all short buildings so be aware
The ticket cost ( 3000 ¥) to go until the last floor it's absolutely secondary considering the amazing skyline that you can see from here ! Wonderful !
Beautiful new sky tower in Tokyo! It's 635M tall, and you can go to the view point up to 400M!! I wish I could go there today, but didn't have time!!will go back there for next time again!!
Queueing system for tickets is complicated, arrive as early as possible. Street entertainers and very nice shopping centre. Go up in time for sunset! Provides great views! Gift shops always packed.
Amazing view over Tokyo. No need to go up to the 450 meter deck. The view is the same. The view on the walkway ia even worse. So save the 1000 yen and spend it on coffee.
The building is immaculate and the stores and shopping inside are great. The ¥4000/person price tag to go up the the Observatory was a little insane, so we passed.
It is pretty sad that most of the best places for taking photos in the upper deck is taken by silly advertising for Marvel comics. There is only little place for photographers.
It's 634 meters tall, and for a reason. In Japanese, the first syllables of 6-3-4 (mu む - sa さ - shi し) make up the old name of where the tower stands.
Dont pay for the fast lane ticket is a scam, all the lines go up at the same time you just pay $10 more, going to the 350 mts station is more than enough you can see the city of Tokyo from there
Do remember to check out the board "Today's Views" if you don't want to be wasting your money stuck with a view of just Asakusa. The furthest the Skytree can see is Mt Fuji.
Also there are two decks, the first admission ticket doesn't get you to the highest point. You can pay more to get up there but again it's expensive. Though less crowded and less kids!
Try to go here on a clear day since a lot of the city will be shrouded in clouds on misty or rainy days. The 450th floor isn't really worth the additional fee.
Tokyo Skytree - There is apparently an express line for international visitors. I would recommend that if you want to get up to the top. I didn't know about it until after I arrived there.
