Massara Nati …April 4, 2022【国指定重要文化財】...指定名称は『二条城 東大手門』...入母屋造、本瓦葺、櫓門の現在の門は寛文２年（1662）の建築。慶長7年（1602）年の二条城築城当時から現在のような櫓門形式だったようですが、寛永3年（1626）9月の後水尾天皇の行幸の際には「天皇を上から見下ろさないように」との配慮から、わざわざ単層の高麗門に建て替えられたそうです。
