Clomi9999September 21, 20131972年、日本の近代美術館の先駆けとして宇都宮市に開館した美術館。栃木県を中心とする国内の近現代美術作品やフランス、イギリス、ドイツ等西欧の近現代美術作品を要に、版画、挿絵本、写真、工芸を含め約8,500点余にも及ぶコレクションは、県内随一である。マイセン磁器展示室や野外展示等、見所も多い。
