村上市の2種類目のマンホールカード（B001）は9:00～17:30に配布されています。ただし、毎月最終水曜日（11〜3月は毎週水曜日）および年末年始（12/30〜1/1）はお休みです。

3桁国道沿いなので車両の往来は少なく、静かに過ごせる。男性トイレは小が2個、大が和式1つ。駐車場は狭いため車中泊にはあまり向かないが、あつみよりはマシ

笹川流れ沿いにある道の駅。日本海塩ソフトクリームが有名。展望台から見る日本海の眺めも良し。
