Almost entirely meat or fish based - only one of the dozen buffet dishes was meat and fish free. Very good value for money if you just want to fill up on the cheap, but not exceptionally tasty.
Unbelievable value: ¥500 breakfast buffet with coffee, tea, juice, rice porridge, soup, and a dozen or more mostly vegetable-based dishes. TRY THE NATTO - so much better than the packaged kind!
Very good value for money. However everything is not vegetarian or vegan, so be careful to choose your food right. However it will say if the food contains fish or meat. Very busy at lunch time.
Limited English; food is marked in Japanese to identify meat/fish but appears to have some vegan options. Buy meal/drink ticket then choose items. All you can eat.
Filming location for a Japanese variety show SmaSTATION(スマステーション) on 7 May 2016. Ranking number 2 of the one coin gourmet is the Kyoto vegetarian Buffet Breakfast.
