This temple is the most famous temple at Shanghai, connected with subway line 2. There are many high rise buildings around but the time stops at only this temple. Go to this temple and pray.

Very new architectures and even statues. Not good, they are like toys. Maybe only the bell which isn't used anymore and has many graffiti has some worth in this temple..
On Spring festival (Lunar 1st) & Lanternfestival (Lunar 15th) the entrance feehikes to be a whooping 200 RMB. The religious facility dishonor itself and unenlightened 'believers' as making a profit.
Admission to masterpiece like Notre Dame or Florence Duomo is free. Willing to pay 50 RMB at the religious venue only insults those ungodly worshiper & reveals the corrupted value in the entire system
