Rue. SATOHJune 20, 20221928 年に建てられたスクラッチタイル貼の建物で、設計は近隣の東京美術学校陳列館なども手掛けた岡田信一郎。エントランス上部や階段手摺など、随所にアール・ヌーヴォー風の装飾が施されている。入館無料。

"黒田記念館の2F左側の特別室。設立当初は「陳列室」でしたが、平成24(2012)年度からの耐震工事で、黒田清輝の最も充実した作品である『読書』(1891)、『舞妓』(1893：重文)、『湖畔』(1897：重文)、『智・感・情』(1899：重文)の四作品を展示するための部屋として改修されました。椅子も設置されていますので、作品と静かに心置きなく対話できる場となっています。"
