경기전(사적 제339호)/태조어진(국보317호) 경기전은 경사스러운 터에 지어진 궁궐이라는 뜻을 담고 있다. 조선왕조를 창업한 태조 이성계의 어진(국보 317호)을 봉안하기 위하여 태종 10년(141년)에 창건되었다. 드라마 : 궁, 명성황후 -전주여행지도

1991년 1월 9일 사적 제339호로 지정되었다. 1410년(태종 11)에 임금은 전주, 경주, 평양에 태조 이성계의 어진을 봉안하고 제사하는 전각을 짓고 어용전(御容殿)이라 하였다. 경기전은 왕조의 발상지라 여기는 전주에 세운 전각으로, 세종 때 붙인 이름이다. 건물은 정유재란 때 소실되었던 것을 1614년(광해군6)에 중건하였다. 보호면적은 49,59
