Small airport and its easy to get around. Free wifi, a number of restaurants at the 4th floor at the land side and signs are everywhere It gets my vote for being a passenger-friendly airport.
If you're like me always worrying if there is food beyond security clearance, fret not. There are Korean eateries, Lotteria and at least 2 cafes inside. And a relatively big DFS area too.
Coming to this island and if you’re not a local, it’s important to immediately go and rent a car. Go towards on the bus side and they will bring you there. Best if you book before arriving.
For tourist, there are different check point to the departure hall next to the locals. but then you'll experience the Q at the security check because everybody bring in extra weight into plane! huhu
Nice airport, could feel small but not so bad if u arrive an hr early. Parking during the weekdays costs 10,000won(apprx.10$)a day from Mon till Thurs and 15,000 won on wknd.Limitable parking space.
Buying 체추 chocolates here would generally be around the same price anywhere else, so save the trouble of carrying them around on your trip & just buy it here. & free WiFi at Café Bené by G1 1st floor.
You can find Jeju chocolate boxes for 10000₩. Outside Gate 2, take bus #100 for 5 minutes to the terminal from where you can go almost anywhere on Jeju Island via an intercity bus.
Quite a nice airport. There's actually food past security and you also get a chance to buy Jeju chocolates here. There's even a duty free store (priced in USD)
Good food in the restaurant. Lot of choice and cooked very fast so if you're starving after a fly, you can go. The fly was good too no problem with jeju airline :)
it's not crowded and there is place to sit in west wing of the building although it may be already on your way to find a cafe or restaurant to have a seat as i did... Haha
For those who read tips saying here's no cafe(커피전문점) : there's a Starbucks decorated with nice comfy and corals. Staffs are very nice. Only the coffee is just a Starbucks shit.
We had a flight at 7:30am with 5 flights simultaneously departing the same time but the security check gate and departure counters only opened slightly earlier. Really disappointed!
Try the snack bar: exit from the arrival gate then turn right. You will find it right at the corner near tourist information counter. Try the rice cakes in hot sauce - its the best, also the noodle
If you are departing from international terminal, there aren’t a lot of shops in that terminal. Only one snack bar, duty free shop and duty free pickup section.
There is a gift and duty free shop, but no cafes, restaurants or regular convenience stores inside. No way to get a drink like water or coffee after going through security.
