When you transfer from/to AREX(Airport Express), don't be afraid to passing transfer gate. It doesn't charge you any additional fee. Remind that Hongik Univ. Station is always busy.

try the mushroom noodle shop with the thick noodles ala ban mian. leave some soup for the rice at the end of the meal. down the street from sangdang building opposite peony cafe.

Expect a lot of people any time of the day. Try to detour to other exits because almost everyone goes out at exit 9

Exit 9 is the busiest exit I've ever seen. To avoid lining up in the mess. Walk straight thru the arcade/mini mall and up the stairs. Much fast way out of the metro.

If you are trying to get to Hongdae, you should exit through Gate #8! Everyone tries to enter and leave though Gate #9 and it’s a nightmare traffic jam there.

This may be the fastest and most reliable way to commute between Seoul station and Inchon airport~ 43 minutes and 13000 won! Cheaper train (slow train) takes 53 minutes but cost only about 4000 won!

You can catch the AREX all Stop Train to Incheon & Gimpo Airport. Incheon takes 50 minutes and Gimpo takes 13 minutes

Take exit 8 instead of 9 during the evenings, it's far less crowded.

개찰구 옆에 있는 물품보관소가 꽉 차 있으면 9번출구 롭스매장 뒤로 무인물품보관소 있어요. 참고로 경의선/연남동으로 나가는 출구는 3번이 제일 가까워요. 8번도 혼잡하면 2번에 에스컬레이터 출구 있으니 편하게 올라가서 건너가세요.

클럽으로 유명하지만..조폭,조스 떡볶이가 유명하고 각종 맛집이 많고 특히 정문을 등지고 우측에 카페 네스카페와 스벅 사이에 작은 프랑스 빵집 빵은 예술임. 클럽문화가 발달하기 전에 아기자기한 10년 전 홍대가 좀 그립기도 함..

열차지연증명서는 당시 시간을 확인해야 하기 때문에 바로 역무실로 가서 달라고 하거나 나중에라도 시간을 증명할 수있는 개찰한 티켓이나 교통카드를 보여주면 됩니다. 2번출구 나가기전 '고객안내센터'에서 발급받으세요.

김포공항역에서 홍대입구역(공항철도)까지 대략 13~14분 소요 / 홍대입구역(공항철도)에서 서울역(공항철도)까지 7분 소요

공항철도에서 2호선 갈아타실때 엘레베이터로 B4-B2로 가신후 무빙워크와 에스컬레이터로 갈아타세요~ 생각보단 걸을만해여! 5분이면 충분하네여 ㅎㅎ

공항철도는 아래, 경의선은 위에... 공항철도와 경의선 환승은 편리함. 2호선은 꽤 걸어야 함

누가 2호선-공항철도 환승에 10-15분 걸린대 ㅡㅡ; 엘레베이터 다 타도 여유 있게 7-8분이면 되는구만... 뛸걸 한 대 놓침 ㅜㅜ

홍대역 주변은 너무 산만, 4번출구로 나와서, 산울림 소극장 쪽으로 가는 게 좋다. 구석구석 작은 카페나 식당이 들어서 있고, 그나마 낫다. 요즘 주말에는 복작복작 하지만.

환승역이 되서 역내부가 커지긴 했지만, 9번 출구구멍은 조금도 커지지 않았음. 입구가 좁다고 생각하시면 누르thㅔ요

2010.12.29 기준, 공항철도 개통으로 홍대입구역은 총 9개 출입구가 되었고, 홍대방향은 9번, 롯데시네마 방향은 8번입니다.

2번 출구 근처에 있는 미샤, 엄청 불친절하군요. 내가 가기 직전에 같이 싸우기라도 했는지 모든 직원이 공통적으로 무표정에 무뚝뚝.

공항철도 타고와서 신촌 가실분들은 2호선으로 갈아타지 마시고 5번출구로 나와 동교동삼거리에서 버스를 이용 하시는게 빠릅니다.

금,토 저녁엔 9번출구로 나가기 힘듭니다. 사람이 워낙 많아서 줄서서 올라가야 할 지경.. 다른 출구로 나가는게 훨 빠름.

공항철도 서울역행은 1-3에서 내리면 에스컬레이터가 바로 있다공항철도 계양역행은 2-1에서 승차하면 계양역 내릴 때 에스컬레이터 앞이다.
