French cuisine with stiff drinks. Opened in 1927 at another location. At this location since 1962. Romantic, mid-century setting with attached lounge.

Free music performances in the bar area. One of the few places in town that serves rabbit. Very traditional French Country cuisine. Check out the super old folks for Sunday brunch. They are old!

Food and service were superb. Atmosphere is a bit old-world, but furnishings were clean and in excellent condition. Fairly lively on a Saturday night by 8 PM.

A beautiful authentic French restaurant with some French staff aussi! Food is délicieuse et you can see downtown L.A. from the parking lot.

a great place to throw an event!! hosted a dinner in the library room. perfect for a group of 25. they have delicious wine & the service was very good!!

On Wednesday nights Taix turns into one of the most unsuspecting hangout spot with music, drinks and a whole lotta space to move about

This place is a Echo Park staple. Most soup specials are vegetarian. If you get fries the basket is huge!

The braised short ribs was very tasty, but I sneaked Mistriss Eden's sockeye salmon and liked hers better. LOL Very big portions.
