Great place for a conference. The #AERA16 conference is here. The metro stop takes you to the convention center & the Marriott Hotel is attached to the convention center

Much better (cleaner, larger) venue than the last location. There are parking lots/garages nearby. Better yet, take the Metro, bus, or Circulator.

Spend an extra hour to check out the exquisite art collection. It's the largest publicly owned art collection in the area if not the country.

No charging stations anywhere. Coffee vendors should be plentiful. People couldn't bring in their coffee and were pissed. Need more security during events. Take Metro or taxi to get there.

Great venue for conferences. Discovered coffee in the cafeteria is surprisingly good. Starbucks here is a rip off, there's a cheaper one across the street at the Renaissance. Nearby food along 7th St.

If you want food without waiting in line to re-enter the building, whatever you do don't get the pizza outside Hall D. I thought pizza was a safe choice, but it was nasty even by con food standards.
