Austin Community College - Northridge Campus

Bob Klau (?) is an amazing teacher! I had him for technical writing, and he allows you to go at your own pace, but learn exactly what you need every step of the way.

The science labs here are great and make learning much easier than other community colleges I've been to. All of my professors so far have been very knowledgeable and helpful.

Hey ACC! Ummm get more fucking electrical outlets in the hallways and rooms! There's like 3 on the whole damn campus! #firstworldproblems

parking is always bad the first 3-4 weeks of school but in typical ACC fashion people start dropping like flies! but also the afternoon classes are usually flooded either way, so plan ahead! :)

if you cannot find a visitor parking spot, you can park in the parking lots that say you need a parking pass. but you need to go sign in & provide your information, this way you avoid getting a ticket

the parking spaces are extremely small, prepare for a long walk up the hill to the building. bring a canteen.

Be careful driving down metric! Cops take radar like crazy at the top of the hill and around the corner by the church.

The campus bus stop needs to run all the time, not at peak hours. Or at least make a walkway to the stop at the corner on Metric/Stone Hollow

Get Dr. Catherine Staples as a professor (for English 1301). She's thebomb.com and you might get an easy A.

Thomas Husak is a shitty teacher for music fundamentals. Do not choose him! He doesn't teach the correct material and teaches stuff at that u don't even learn until music theory III!

the white, kinda big,older, female police officer with short hair•• is rude.I know shes worked here for yrs and needs an attitude adjustment. Learn how to talk to people.

You have to get here at the top of an hour to get parking. And becareful not to ding the car next to you...

dr nabona is pretty good as far as Chem professors go, library upstairs has a great view of north Austin

I recommend not buying from the book store. Just because Everything is so expensive.

Even if you are an online student.you still have to buy a parking permit.to take a test ..visitor center people are mean... Guess they really need money and can't give a poor student a break
