Get rid of the waiters trying to kidnap you into their places, find this little corner by the fish market and you won't be disappointed at all. Mares de Chile (box 83). ;)

Outstanding seafood soup with shrimps, clams, crabs, calamari, mussels ect! Avoid touristic restaurants in the middle. Eat at small local cafes next to fish displays.

We went to Tío Willy’s and loved everything! Caldillo de congrio, machas a la parmesana, seafood empanadas were the best we’ve had so far!

It's a nice market, it's not a must visit place in Santiago. The seafood is fresh, but the staff just want you to buy'em, when you refuse, they get angry and don't even look at your face.

Must go if you are tourist - skip the middle huge touristy restaurants and "eat from the borders" - Tio Lucho's is a great option!

Amazing mariscos/seafood here!! Not to miss if you love seafood. The side restaurants are cheaper and just as good

Unfortunately the experience is less pleasant because the vendors swarm you to try and convince you to eat at their place. It makes the experience stressful. Did not end up eating anywhere.

We came for picorocos, giant barnacles. El galeon told us they were not in season and we believed them. So sad. It was a lie. We went inside to Don Augusto and they had them here. Shop around!
