No seating inside but you can take advantage of the casual crate tables and chairs in the neighboring alley. Blackened fish and grilled cheese sandwiches are excellent.
The to-go extension of Gjelina, this too-cool-for-school pizzeria and sandwich spot makes some very good pizzas, albeit at an eye-poppingly expensive price. Read more
Sandwich and pizza did the job. Very tasty. It's fresh, so be ready to wait a few minutes at rush hours, but well worth the wait. Don't expect any seating. As everything on Abbot K., a bit expensive.
The brownies here are the best I've ever had (no nuts, consistency of flourless chocolate cake), and brownies are my favorite baked good. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't get one.
Outstanding, genius pizza. Healthy, tasty soup. Lamb sausage pizza would probably make you never look back at any bacon or hampizzas again! No seating & [not] $$; this place is pricey, easily $$$.
Blackened fish sandwich is a must try for those that like fish on bread. The pizza is the same great pizza that's served in Gjelina. Great for a quick bite when you don't feel like waiting for tables
I can eat the cauliflower and Brussel sprouts in endless quantities. The pizza is possibly the best I've ever hard. Bahn mi good, but not authentic. Best brownies I've ever had.
Pizzas to go here are great; but really love coming here in the morning. Fantastic Caffe Americano (and mochas), open face toasts - especially their avocadoradish option. Worth the parking effort.
Try the cavaillon melon with lightly grilled squid, or the wild arugula with sheep cheese and corn - So good it will make a full grown woman blush! Featured at the LA Weekly PancakeBreakfast 8/11/13! Read more
Solid turkey sandwich. Brisket banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) was very greasy/watery and messy to eat. Good flavor but they use Vietnamese pickles, not a French stylebaguette. $30 for 2 sandwich..
Got a latte, rasberryscone, proscuittotoast, smoked salmontoast and frittata. Everything was good and fresh. Even if it was crowded, the service was good and quick.
Probably the nicest pizza, I've had in LA. $7 a slice is a bit steep but when you see their actual coal oven, you'll know it's worth that extra few bucks over Abbot's Pizza a block away
I love the bang mi and the meatball sandwich for Dinner. The breakfast sandwich, granola, and toasts are an amazing way to wake up. Basically you can't go wrong!
Best Tuna Melt I've ever had. They make it with red onions and capers. You can grab a sandwich and sit on the milk creates in the alley way. Really cool spot.
Sit on a milk crate, pay too much for a brisket bánh mì, and enjoy the hell out of your life during the moments you spend eating one of the best sandwiches around.
Had the lamb sausage pizza...was super oily. The pulled pork sandwich was dripping oil but was tasty. Not healthy but worth a visit for a quick bite to eat.
