Abode was a pure joy. Nice premises, central to Colaba, good French press coffee, and great service. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of Mumbai's streets. Note that basic rooms have no window.

One of the best hotels in India, really cozy and well done, great service and comfortable beds. Clean and friendly. A great break for the chaos outside.

Interestingly done up boutique hotel by Sian Pascale. Small rooms and even smaller bathrooms but very comfortable beds and very cosy. Love the 40's-50's look of the switches. Medium to high budget.

The style is mischievously multicultural, with beautiful Bharat tiles, exposed brick, high ceilings, wooden beams and bookshelves laden with books on international design, art and architecture. Read more

Tucked away in Colaba, the 20-room Abode hotel pays homage to retro-Bombay kitsch. There are old-fashioned light switches and locks, handmade wicker chairs, and colorful Bharat tiles.
