I'm all for paying for parks, but if you are cash strapped, you can park for free just outside the park kiosk near the visitor center. If you do go in, this 2.3 mile loop hike is a gem (follow link) Read more

Beautiful redwoods! There is an easy 1 mile trail that stays flat for those of us not wanting a hike but wanting to be in nature. Walked it 41 weeks pregnant!!!

Add the pool ridge trail to the accessible hike for a more intense (~500 ft elevation gain) and private hike.

The East Ridge trail is a bit more challenging and bypasses most of the Redwoods. If you want a shorter trek full of mammoth trees, stick to the Pioneer trail.

Take the Pool Ridge Trail. It's a good 3 miles uphill but the view is worth it!
