Kopi. Locals in neighbourhood zoom in on Nan Yuan Beverage #01-12. Owner/chief barista has an uncanny skill: he takes orders of 4-5 customers, makes all drinks, & serve them in correct order!

W HoAugust 19, 2014Shan Yuan vegetarian food is da bomb! Healthy brown rice w veggies & tofu. My only concern is the sweetness in the sauces. Thumbs up nonetheless!

Yuan Li noodle is my favorite. Eating this noodle reminds me of my childhood days. Be prepared to wait though on Saturday of up to 30 minutes. I think the shop is closed on Sunday.UpvoteDownvote
Helen CMarch 25, 2017Turtle soup at stall 01-30, too sweet and salty. Turtle meat is soft and tender, good. Closed on Monday & Tuesday. Price is high for market area.

UpvoteDownvote- Lor Mee ($4). Fu Ji Mei Shi 福記美食 #01-19 is popular for this dish. To me, it’s a basic preparation. The “lor” (gravy) lacks aroma. I didn’t hv any fish bits
