Best running track outdoors in the city. I always start from the lowest point of the park and run all the way up on the East River. The park itself is amazing with soothing views of Queens/Brooklyn
Secretly some of the best river views of the city, from the Corlears Hook view of the Statue of Liberty, to the promenade under the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.
Start in the East Village and go to Chinatown. Seeing people playing sports, the small garden areas, the water views, even the craziness of the FDR reminds me why I love this diverse, exciting city.
This is one of the nicest parks in NYC second to Central Park & Hudson RiverPark. Biking, jogging, walking, skating, dog walking, BBQ, anything you can think of. Enjoy a nice day here or a few hours
Good spot for running. There are water fountains that are available during the warm weather and are usually off during the winter. A great place to watch the sunrise.
Spend some quality time with your licensed pup at East River Running Path Dog Run. For info on dog licensing visit: http://on.nyc.gov/M85uPu. For more info about dog runs visit: http://bit.ly/Ra5S4w
The earlier you go the better, besides for watching the sun rise over the East River, there's much less congestion. This is more relevant to those on bikes.Everyone has earbuds=they don't hear ur bell!
