Mexican groceries not easy to find in nyc. I found all ingredients for tamales, masa harina, corn husks, wide assortment of dried chillies... fresh ingredients too like tomatillos and serrano chillies
Why do locals flock to this Mexican restaurant in the back of a big, brightgrocery store? Could be the condiment bar, or maybe specials like chicken enchiladas in a sweet-and-spicy mole sauce.

Yeah, it's gonna take forever. But be patient. These guys are taco y torta artistas of the highest order. It's just a shame though that you can't throw back a cerveza (or two) to pass the time.
