- Bart LapersSeptember 11, 2012Don't worry if your luggage is overweight and you're flying Air Tahiti Domestic. You get 5KG extra if you have diving license. Pay 210xpf (€1,75 $2,3) per extra KG. Yes, that is almost free! :)

Airport is getting renovated, a nice little cafe and the duty free is getting better! Keep in mind you'll need to walk down a flight of steep stairs to get off the plane. IrinaAugust 14, 2014Taxis are not THAT expensive here. Before we came (thanks to all the well-meaning reviewers) I was expecting to pay a ransom's worth to get to the hotel. It's not that bad. Enjoy Tahiti!UpvoteDownvote
