They get fresh sushi every Wednesday Fridayand Sunday. Try all the bottled drink-yes it's filled with sugar but it's worth it. Try any of the milky peco sweets.brings back childhood memories for sure.

The green tea powder ("matcha") packets are perfect for a single serving of green tea. Matcha is ground green tea leaf AND stem so it is even better for you. Pour 1 into a bottle of water & shake!

The staff are friendly and happy to answer your questions. The tiny space belies a rich selection of Japanese vegetables and seasonings. Look beyond the sweets and instant meals!

The produce is fresh and fairly priced. A lot of times its cheaper than the grocery store. I always stop in hear to get all my ingredients for Shabu Shabu, except the meat.

Love the selection selection. Not only will they have the Japanese ingredients you're looking for, they also have some popular ingredients from other Asian countries.

This is a great *little* (emphasis) place to find ingredients for Japanese dishes. Service is outstanding! Expect a slight premium for the convenience.

Great Japanese market in DC. It's filled with imported food that you can't get elsewhere. They carry sushi-grade tuna.
