    The homemade pappardelle bolognese was spot on traditional and very tasty, with al dente fresh pasta. The staff was delightful. The chef came out to greet diners and treated us like old friends.

    One of the most authentic Italian dining experiences I've had in Chicago. The I Monelli pizza with jalapeños is incredible. Order the affogato, vanilla ice cream drowned in espresso, for dessert.

    Love the pizza. Try theirs with potato and rosemary. It has a great crust...better than Peaquod's which everyone raves about and I don't know why.
