Opened by James H. Taylor in 1949, he transformed a snake farm into a roadside attraction and gift shop, eventually adding a giant jackrabbit to sit on and photograph.
Old trading post on historic Route 66 just outside Winslow, Az. Looks like it too. Lots of souvenir items like any trading post along 40. Right off the freeway.
Taylor ran the business until 1961. After that it was bought by Glen Blansett. It is still run by his granddaughter and her husband, Cynthia and Antonio Jaquez.
