Korilla BBQ may be good but you can try Gammeeok also. Gammeeok is one of the best Korean restaurant in Koreatown in New York. Try it, Kimchi to BBQ and you will feel the difference. www.gammeeok.nyc

Korilla BBQ's first brick & mortar shop will open this week. Unleashing kimchi burritos on the East Village. Menu is similar to the team's trucks: Korean BBQ-inspired rice bowls, burritos, and salads. Read more

Get the Bulgogi bowl with black rice, extra meat, and kimchi. Probably the most affordable Korean BBQ in the city. Seating is limited, service is slow, but it's worth it.

Tasty, tasty Korean BBQ-Mexican fusion. Great value. They recently revamped their menu and somehow it's even tastier than before. Try the purple multi-grain rice and the beets and sweets!

OMFG they serve the infamous purple rice here, and their meat with Korean sides are awesome. I think they really do the Korean Mexican fusion really well. This is coming from girl who is picky.

The burrito bowls are fantastic given the 4 unique Korean style toppings you get to add. So while you're trying something different opt in for the noodles versus therice.

I've been to korilla many times over the last few years, but had the spicy chix for the first time today. Don't sleep on this chicken, it is superb!

The portions and price are comparable to Chipotle, but the taste far outclasses it. The Korilla house sauce is sweet, spicy, and tangy - I recommend you smother everything with it.

Try the bulgogi with a fried egg and purple rice. The sides are fresh; I chose the honey squash, sweet & beets and kale...all was stellar.

I tried the salad bowl with chicken. It's like having all the best banchan from Korean BBQ thrown together into a super salad explosion.

If you can only eat at one place in all of NYC, make it Korilla. My favorite place by far. Korilla sauce is CRACK.

Gotta go with the kimchi fried rice. But I think most people know this already, as that's usually the first thing to sell out.
