A very quaint restaurant. We happened to pick the hottest day of summer to go and it was an oven in there. The food was great but you should ensure your guests are comfortable.
A charming Parkdale fixture, Local Kitchen attracts a diverse crowd, mainly comprised of locals. They serve fresh, house-made pastas and a rotating chalkboard of specials. [Eater 38 Member]
Only come here if you smoke and have already ate, the portions are seriously small and the food is a salt lovers wet dream. I've been here 3 times and this is the last.
Be wary of the pasta specials. They may be delicious, but the portions are ridiculously small for the price. My $20 tortellini included only FIVE pieces of pasta. Criminal!
