If you aren't leaving on a packed day try waiting as long as you can to get the tickets. They go down to 15 if you're smart about it. Or just go ghetto and fung wah since bolt is always sold out.
Get there early, watch for your bus because baggage handlers do not know how to organize and will tell you to form three different lines while your bus is sitting there empty.always late
Amtrak $80+, Bolt $35+, MegaBus $12+. Yeah, the grunts on ground staff SUCK MONKEY BALLS, but once on-board, WiFi, outlets, clean comfortable seats... Worth the aggressivation. Greyhound? Forget it
WiFi tip: connect to the MegaBus network, open a browser and accept the terms. Your mobile WiFi indicator may not show you're connected to the network until you login via your browser. :)
People keep complaining about the lack of accommodations. It's a bus stop for pete's sake. A cheap, convenient method of travel. You want accommodations, pay more money and take a train.
All these haters... I usually have good experiences on the Mega Bus. Going to Boston to NY or visaversa is never going to be on time, unless u take a red eye.
NEVER on time. But, if you're getting me to places like Boston, Philly, and even Rochester for free, who am I to complain? And unlike greyhound, not at all grimey and ghetto
Biggest cluster ever. Didn't board on time. No signs for destination. My enough staff. Dave yourself the headache and anxiety and take Bolt or Greyhound.
Lining up for a bus is a clusterfuck. Absolute chaos. The bus was running about an hour behind but they loaded us in pretty quick. Once we were on the road it was good though. Outlets, wifi,& legroom!
Wifi is alright. Outlets! Smells good. Don't sit next to me or blare your speakers without headphones. Don't chew loudly or bring smelly food, or I will hurt you.
