Fabulous location, and very friendly staff, but surprisingly very very busy during the week for lunch, so not ideal if you're just after a quick bite. Can only imagine sheer chaos on a weekend.

Just used this as a stopping point on a ride along the Cook's River Cycleway. The wharf at the end is a great spot to stop for a nibble and a drink

Free parking and picnic area right next to the river. Plus the armoury cafe is good for a coffee.

Hire a bike and ride along parramatta river! Or if you feel ambitious try a hike around the bird sanctuary.
