Great food and service. Steaks are done well. Can’t miss with the various sides. Valet parking available on 7th at the Hotel ($9). Over-all good experience in an upscale (not over the top) restaurant.
Fantastic. I had the rainbow trout. The green chile mac 'n cheese is one the the tastiest sides ever. The service was friendly and masterful. Finished with the Mexican creme brulee. I was delighted.
Three words: Big Ass Burger. Roaring Fork is actually a lot classier than the name of its signature dish would suggest – think luxe leather couches – but that burger is to die for, y'all.
Kettle of green chillipork + fondue pot w/ lamb chops are great. If you're looking for something lighter, try the shrimp and avocado salad. Truth be told, everything we tried so far has been amazing.
Me and my fiance ate fish there! It was truly amazing! I don't like that they haven't one vegetarian option but I guess that will come sooner or later.definitely a good place to eat with fresh quality
Awesome spot downtown. Parking free in street on Sunday. Had the half rotisserie chicken, super good and enough to take home and eat cold later the same night. Guacamole was also really fresh
Classic, albeit a bit tired, steakhouse vibe. I can’t speak for the meat but had a very solid Waldorf chicken salad. If Austin had any kind of lunch culture this place should be busy.
The Waldorf salad was amazing. So delicious. The mexican corn was also excellent. My bf has the burger and it was alright but not as good as the other 2 thing. HH is a great deal
Try the Big Ass Burger. A mile-high burger, with a brioche bun and a beef patty the size of a rodeo buckle. Bonus: Follow link for a their green chili pork recipe... Read more
Try the pork carnitas. Ask for it with a side of bbq sauce and get the mashed potatoes instead of the normal side. It's much better. The big ass burger is also very good.
The Roaring Fork's Wood Fired Cooking captures the spirit of... bold American cuisine, creating flavors that crackle with a rugged edge.
In the Old West, the best food was prepared on a simple wood fire. This same spirit, freshness and flavor are at the heart of every dish we serve. Select from lamb, chicken, beef, pork and fresh fish entrees all perfectly prepared by wood fire rotisserie, open flame grill or wood oven roasting.
Add to this our impeccable service and an atmosphere as inviting as our food, and you've got a dining experience you'll come back for again and again. Roaring Fork's ideal blend of energy and intimacy has made it a favorite for over a decade.
