Madon! I will not let Alex R. have the last word on this venue be negative. This is a solid, pioneering craftbeer joint which you should absolutely hit. Beers are spectacular. Period.
Not only does this brewery make their own beer but they have their own spirits too. Great line up of mixed drinks. Also, have a good menu that is reasonably priced.
This Brewery has one of the best fine craft selection of them all! I saw them starting with just a few types of brews back in 2004, now they are huge! Kudos!!
Rogue seems more interested in global distro than being part of Portland's bar scene. Fine for them. The snobbery of Rogue, in general, is a turn off for me, but that snickers beer sure is good.
Dead Guy & White Frog were our choices. Was hard to choose! They were nice enough to let us sample a few others before we picked! We ordered "Hoppy Meals" so $2 beers & came w/ Vampire fangs:)
Nicest staff EVER! Had a great meal here, but I forgot a $100 pair of sunglasses here a week ago and they tracked them down to me. Special shout out to Cory! Never would've happened in California.
Kobe bleu balls awesome...food is very salty on the whole..maybe it pairs with the beers better? Try the maple Bacon beer, only in bottle, definitely tastes like the Voodoo donuts Maple Bacon bar.
There's a beer made with yeast from a brewer's beard. No joke. It's sanitary but not delicious but worth trying for the story. Aside from that the food is good.
Beers are of course great (marionberry sour and hop 7). Cheese curds with jalapeño were good but not generously portioned. Bit pricey? Slow service. Decent grilled cheese.
One of the breweries in the country! Try a sampler and I recommend the Chipolte Ale, Hazlenut Brown Ale, Bacon Maple Ale (crazy), & the Chocolate Stout
$0.50 extra for "house made" mustard.... REALLY? I feel "nickel & dimed." There are too many places in Portland that have great beer and food. That's where I'll be going.
I LOVE Rogue beers so we figured this would perfect for beer & lunch. Service absolutely sucked, even on a slow day. Table was sticky & disgusting & we had to ask for a rag. We had to clean ourselves!
Located in Portland's Pearl District, the building was once home... to Portland Brewing and Bogart's. Tours, 38 taps, bike friendly & outside seating.(Show more)
