Let me introduce Bronte to you. He will be your best friend for 10 minutes. Best 'different' burger so far. The pasta has no chance after this burger, but is good, too. I tried 'roasted vegetable'.
Great for brunch (until 1 pm) with a ton of veg options. While the green eggs dish isn't filling, the kale is out of this world with its subtly sweet taste. 👌
The Bronte Burger is freakin' amazing. It's messy, and a bit unorthodox, but so delicious. The truffle fries bring it to new heights. Bonus: Australian accents.
If I ever get in to the restaurant game I'd want my restaurant to be a carbon copy of Rubys. Everything about this place is excellent. Well, everything apart from the shit hipsters that congregate.
Worth noting that they have delicious Gluten Free breads and pastas. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order, but I’d highly recommend the hash browns or fries & the breakfast egg sandwich.
Although I did not have it (and regret it) the burger my friend got (and I tasted) was amazing. Get the side of Brussel sprouts as well. Thank me later.
I have never been disappointed here, either by service or food. Highly recommend any of the pastas or the breakfast bowl at brunch. They have an excellent outdoor seating setup for COVID, too!
Bronte burger and creamy chicken pasta were our choice. Both were really delicious, but the burger was slightly overly sweet for me. And the wine glasses are funny and cute.
Treat yo'self to this burger and truffle fries. Absolutely incredible! It's a lot of food, so go splitty splitty with the gluten free pasta dish. Use the truffle fries as leverage.
Ruby’s, an Australian hole-in-the-wall, is one of the best spots in all of downtown. Its burgers are some of the best in New York. Try the Brontë burger with crispy fried Brussels sprouts. Read more
Brussels sprouts, sweet potato fries with sweet chili sauce and any of the burgers or chicken sandwiches are bloody fantastic. Wash it all down with a Cooper’s Pale Ale from South Australia.
Bronte Burger: Keep it simple with ground beef, lettuce, tomato, sweet chili, mayo and cheese, then switch things up with toasted ciabatta bread instead of a bun. Ooo, living on the wild side. Read more
Passion fruitgranola bowl, green eggs, penne a La vodka, and ricotta hot cakes are amazing. Love that they serve their full menu all day, perfect place for all day dining.
This is a great breakfast/brunch spot! I love the big, floor to ceiling windows and the seating next to those. Perfect for people watching :). They serve delicious, imaginative salads.
what tourists want in "soho": a cool crowd in a unique hole in the wall with healthy options that feels like a hidden gem. Unfortunately the teams ingredients aren't always fresh & waits can be looong
Would you opt for sweet-potato fries over regular fries any day? This Aussie spot ramps up the salty-sweet goodness with sweet chili sauce and a dollop of sour cream. Read more
All of the burgers are unique (the meat and the bun are...more Australian) and tasty. The real lunch winner is the chicken avo salad. Light and well-dressed, just like your favorite startup employee.
This is a cool little restaurant with a garage door that opens up to the street. The crispy chicken salad is delicious. Ask for one of the two tables along the garage door and closest to the street.
Every single thing on the menu is delicious! From their creative salads, to pasta dishes and their infamous burgers, you can't go wrong! Such a fun atmosphere and friendly waiters. My favorite spot!
I tried the cheeseburger and it was awesome. The fries cost extra and were nice and crispy. Cozy place and can get packed on Friday and weekends. The portion sizes are small. Great service.
I've enjoyed watching this location expand over the years. Food & service are incredible. Pasta, burgers are gluten free by request. Coffeecounter culture. Casual, fast, top quality, worth the wait!
The Brontë burger is excellent and definitely the item to order. The burger blends a meaty and delicate sweetness on a panini type bun. The fries also are on point.
Their Aussie-style Whaleysburger made with a meatloaf-y patty topped with beets, pineapple, and a runny fried egg may not be anything like a typical American burger, but it's still tasty. Read more
Hip & hot scene, good looking & tasting food, & great service. Small space & nearly impossible not to wait during any given day's brunch/dinner hours. Fun Aussie drink selection; no liquor.
Really like this place. It's super super small but can always manage to get seats. Salads and pasta are both awesome. Apparently the burgers here are great too cc @xy (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Totally recommend it. The food and the service both are good. We got the kale salad and bronte burger both good. The watermelon juice wasn’t that good as i expect.
A wide variety of healthy options, including the quinoa bowl and shrimp and avocado salad. Bronte burger is also delicious, if you're feeling unhealthy.
Love their burgers. 2 thin patties, potatobun, cheese melty. Not the kind of burger that’s too hard to open your mouth to eat. Spicyrigatoni also good.
