the most authentic Chinese restaurants in mid-levels with English speaking staff. all spicy food is good here. my fav is the dan dan noodles. my Chinese mom approves!
Been here a few times for hotpot. Although a popular spicyhotpot place I think it's a bit expensive and not as tasty as the one in Happy Valley. Service is nice and order came out pretty quick.
This is by far the best Chinese food (Sichuan, in particular) I've ever had in my life. The fried soft shell crab with peppers come enough to feed 6 people. Required eating.
Authentic! Hotpotsesame sauce not the ideal Beijing kind, but hey, we're in HK. Free corkage if you buy a membership card, BUT still charges that 10% service charge from the corkage, so be careful.
Plenty of vegetarian options if you ask for them, and some of the best tasty authentic Sichuan food on the island. Resto fills up fast, but the 22/F offers the same dinner menu.
One of HK's top Sichuan restaurants. A la carte or hotpot. Good teasmoked duck, fish in chilli oil or deep fried chilli and chicken dices. Now on 2 floors - 7/f and 22/f - check when booking.
Only the lunch express they sell in the lobby is a $! Both upper floors are way more expensive, like $$$. If you can get there before 1:45 pm before it closes, it's a great value.
