Very nice permanent collection. Selections from heavy hitters while dedicating considerable space to Pacific Northwest style art. Great balance.

Loved the mythical section where you can find several paintings of Venus, Zeus and Cupid. Also the Egyptian, French and Roman sections are really good. I'm definitely going back to that museum.

Amy Sherald to Henri Matisse, and everything in between. Overall, small, but diverse. Art from nearly every time period and locale, focused on PNW and social justice. Free every first Thursday.

Not an earth shattering permanent collection, but well curated, and a fantastic space. They tend to bring in some great visiting shows.

We dare you to count the number of Dale Chihuly glass sculptures in the museum. Then go to the outdoor sculpture garden and find out the name of the large Chihuly in the middle of the garden.

Park @ 3rd and Stewart garage & ask the front counter for a voucher--$8 for 4 hours & it's only a 10 minute walk. Not day-of-the-week sensitive, good whenever.
