Great spot. Nice views, but the rooms are a little slim. They use Starbucks coffee for their room coffee, though! Only about two blocks from Times Square and about half a mile to Central Park.
The hotel in general is great, lovely views from the rooms, short distance from landmarks and comfortable beds. But there's an important lack of elevators, you could wait up to 7 minutes to get a lift
We had a great experience. Friendly, kind staff, and a very well-appointed Starwoodhotel. The location gives easy access to Central Park, Times Square, and Broadway. We would stay here again!
Extremely convenient location near major landmarks and easily accessible via bus/subway. A great choice for the NYC tourist. Check in would take time though if you're not a gold or executive member
Great location! But I never get enough rest staying here as the noise from the hallway is super loud, you can here pretty much everything from the walking steps to the slamming of the doors.
If one is looking for a Starwood chain hotel in Times Square, this is possibly the best option compared to W and Westin. Comfortable rooms and best thing is the subway exit just round the corner.
The staff of this hotel are very professional, attentive, and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the beds are super comfortable. In fact, I AM laying in one of them right now!
Prob the best elevators ever! Fancy system..you’ll see what I mean. Talk to the concierge right away. We only did on our last day and missed on some great tips like cafe 53 right next door..go there!
Great location right by times square so you can walk everywhere. The club lounge is a bonus, but it is private. Downside is few outlets don't work & couple wear and tear here and there.
Always busy and crowded. Elevator traffic. Club floors have great views. Nice spacious club lounge. Not the place for a tranquil escape. Walking distance to tourist locations.
The lobby of this Midtown hotel is always hopping regardless of the hour. It's a great place to take in a ballgame at the bar, chat with friends or just people watch.
nice new renovated rooms - great central place with walking distance to times square. try to get a room nr between 1 and 4 to have a good view to times square
Bathroom tip: While there is a large restroom on the lobby level in the back right corner, if you walk in the revolving door on 7th, take an immediate right, up a stair & find another small bathroom.
Wifi in the lobby very fast. Go online after 11pm, no congested network. Talk to tall security guards, they give good food tips aka best pasta, pizza and everything in between
Almost completed a 150 million renovation which added all new decor to the guest rooms and hallways, wifi and the ability to control your own heat/ac all year round! Also check out Marketburger!
Very noisyhotel, during mt stay there was a youth conference, hope this was the reason of the crowd and noise. Lication simply perfect. I hope next time i will enjoy my stay more.
This place seems to be where every school, team and club visiting New York chooses to stay. There are so many other options in the city, why settle for the Sheraton?
The location. Mr Ahmad one of the counter staff professional and personal. Some of the check-in counter staff, needs to understand the concept of Customer service so do their floor manager.
Take care with the mini bar, if u temporary remove any item from it, u will wake up with the bill under ur door. Very impressive system which i never met before.
I'm grateful for the comfort but it isn't a friendly place. It's extra for the gym (10 bucks a day) - the comment "not my department" on many occasions and I've been here 24hrs.
Did you know they shot the God father here - parts of it - it was called the 'Americana' then. There is a pool in the hotel over the road - you can use it for free.
