The Oyako Don is excellent. Start with the Gyoza, Edamame, Tsukemono. The Ika Geso (calamari legs) are also really good. They have good soba & udon noodle dishes, too. Home style.

Sunshine Cafe is famous for home style Japanese cooking. And rightly so. They have sushi on the menu, but I've never ordered any, so I can't say how good it is. Too busy eating everything else!

This is where I come when I need some food that reminds me of home. Try the: ika geso, potato croquettes, sukiyaki, and the ten zaru soba!

If you like fishy fish, order the Saba, spread daikon on top, sprinkle with lemon juice and a little soy sauce, then eat like a sea god.

Most Japanese restaurants are all about sushi. This place is more about all Japanese cuisine: ramen, yaktori, etc.

Unagi is temporarily off the menu, but they will cook kabayaki style salmon if you want. A close second in yumminess!

If you like fishy fish, order the saba shioyaki (broiled mackerel), spread the grated daikon across the fish, squeeze the lemon juice over the daikon and add a dash of soy sauce. Classic.
