This doesn't get as much a mention as the red bus/phone box/bigben etc. but it's amazing, especially on the south side in the evening when the lights are lit along the bank. Worth a visit.

The Tower Bridge Exhibition is a quick, easy thing to do if you're staying in the area. It's interesting and has good views of London and the Thames. Reasonably cheap as well compared to other things.
If you r on the north bank, be sure to visit the Tower Bridge Museum, just down the steps on the eastern side. Low price entry for children, O.A.P.'s & the disabled
The gateway into London, a beautiful design, still in operation and a great tour to see how it all works. New addition is the glass bottom walkway at the top if your brave enough!
With the London Pass the tour is free and it's worth it. The view from the top of the bridge is fantastic. And you could walk on the glass floor over ThamesRiver!

A quick walk across is nice for the view and to take a pic back of the Tower of London! Look at the shadows that the holes in the bridge when the sun shines u will giggle
