Hong Kong quality dim sum in a very local Singapore environment. Food is always good. Do try the har gows and for desserts, DO NOT miss out on the banana pancakes.

Dim sum devotees love Yum Cha’s old-fashioned pushcart service, a novelty rarely seen in Singapore. Marble-topped tables and framed neighborhood photos set the backdrop for standout salted-egg prawns.

Our favourites were the pork ribs with black pepper sauce (so tender!) and the sautéed HK kai lan with dried conpoy.

Better to go for Lunch than Dinner as the dim sum menu is bigger. Tips: ask for the menu with pictures, it helps !

Great traditional dim sum. Very noisy due to the clanging of metal trolleys on wooden floor.

Overrated - prices are average+ (just paid $45 for 5 dim sum plates and an appetizer, no drinks, for two), a bit oily/greasy, and place is not so nice looking imo. I prefer Din Tai Fung!

Food here is cheap and good. Don't come expecting good service though. Big dead cockroach on floor beside our table. Informed staff once we sat down. Roach wasn't even removed when we left an hr later

Typically you will get very good service (or at least fast service) at a Chinese restaurant, but this place sucks. It's more for tourists, not locals.
