The creste du gallo pasta with broccoli, garlic and chili was epic. You can order 1/2 portions, it was only $11 for a nice size! Strongly recommend the cod, squash and hazelnutdessert. Loved it
After a revamp, brunch legend Five Points returns as Vic's, an Italian marketrestaurant. Menu dishes include ryerigatoni with lamb, & six pizzas. Also, barman is brewing 2 house-made limoncellos. Read more
LOVED. THIS. PLACE. The food, the service was phenomenal. This will be my new neighborhood go to. The chicken is a must if you love spicy, their pastas are great and definitely get the carrots!
Excellent brunch option if you can sneak in without a wait. The marzano baked eggs are awesome and saucy and the squash with cheese and lardons was FANTASTIC. Basil bloody to wash it down
Short, simple menu will please everyone. Can’t go wrong with caccio e pepe. Scene-ish spot for 20 something crowd. Dine with your girlfriends and up your IG game in the ladies room. Friendly staff.
Vic's has never failed me. It's probably my favorite brunch spot in the city: bright and airy, laid back vibe, tasty and original dishes. The staff are pleasant and cheerful, too.
Seasonal menu where staples may get tweaked. Scone was really good and poached eggs wee filling. Coffee is strong and service was pretty slow surprisingly
Omg the cacio de Pepe is perfect! Also had pizza and the carrotappetizer. Loved the oil and crushed red peppers with the pizza. I’ll come back for more pasta!
Went for drinks and a few appetizers. Kind of wish we stayed for dinner as both the drinks and apps were on point. Give it a go, you’ll be pleased you did.
In addition to the food - which I love - everything about this place makes me feel comfortable in a city where sometimes everything feels hectic and hyped up.
Definitely recommend trying a bunch of pastas in small portions. Starters are fun (burrata, rabbit are both very well done) and the roast pork shoulder is delicious.
Order the "Car Driver" Bucatini named after the roadside spots where drivers would "refuel" their vehicles, & their bellies. It includes housemadetomato paste, chile oil, orange zest, & marjoram. Read more
I wanted to love it. Dinner was good but $$$ for meh+. My fave part was that their wines by the glass are on a table in the middle of the restaurant so you never have to wait for a refill.
Food is generally v good here BUT having eaten here every week for a month and spoken to Vicky (owner) everytime I find it poor hospitality that she has no recognition of her most frequent customers.
