Great neighborhood bar- drinks are strong, food is reliable and patrons are unpretentious. Negroni, old fashioned, manhattan... I have yet to be disappointed.

This is the most reasonably priced bottle shop yet. Good variety and they sell steaks for some reason. I guess that goes well with beer.
Wonderful little Japanese Cocktail bar hidden inside of el Ocho. Oji-San and Michael are still in soft opening, but the drinks are fantastic and they really take good care of their customers. Go!
Cheesily themed but classy joint right next to Ferguson Lane. Drinks are pretty delicious and moderately priced (considering cocktails are 80+ anywhere in Shanghai now). Good for late night talks
