The bell tower is the highest (68 m.) building in Vilnius' Old Town. The modern elevator gives a unique possibility to view the panorama of the old town.
Since you are here don't miss an opportunity to visit The Hall of Pranciškus Smuglevičius which is the oldest part of the original library complex.
Once you are here, take a look at the northern wing of the building where surviving frescoes display the VU coat of arms and portraits of the University's patrons.
Do you know, that the first Jesuits, who came to Vilnius to open the university, settled in the surrounding buildings. Come here in summer, when everything is in full blossom.
