Alternative baristas serving perfect Macchiatos in East Village. Expect a modern style , chill environment interrupted by the steady flow of young urban professionals and NYU caffeine cravers.

Paõ (gluten-free Brazilian cheese bread) is the perfect savory addition to an almond milk latte. Each one has a few big sea salt flakes on top.

Wayside's coffee is great, its staff is friendly and attentive, and it's nice to hear Spanish music over the loudspeakers. There's free wifi but it isn't a good place to work if you need space

Best cheese bread ever. EVER. They chrun them out throughout the day and if you're lucky, you'll be there right when the cheesy balls come out of the oven.

Hidden gem for those work-from-home-but-need-to-get-out-of-the-house days. Especially great during the hot, summer months.

The Intelligentsia espresso needs a little work, but from 11am-4pm, before it turns into a bar, there's free wifi and good snacks, pastries & savory food.

Really great muffins but they sell out of all 6 that they get by 9AM & for the life of me I can't figure out why they don't get more of them to sell.

Very open and bright space but the soy latte I had was very weak and watery tasting. Hopefully things pick up and change as they ease into the new digs.
