Great view of Salzburg from the fortress , you could either walk up or take a tram ride up. If you have time and are able to walk up, take a pit stop halfway through for some local brew.
It's gardens are free to public and open till late hours, even after palace closes for the day.
There's definitely a lot to see here. It's organized well and is really interesting - even if you're not a music aficionado.
Tour is pretty simplistic and short, but it is a good deal since it comes with three beer samples and a small gift (ours was a red stein muh!)
